Dear Mr. Khatami
Iran's former president and chief of international center of dialogue among cultures and civilizations
Once you proposed the dialogue among civilizations, the world that was tired of war, welcomed it with open arms. We were adult students that have spent most of our lives in violence and war, became adherents of what we thought is the effective solution out of these coarse arguments.
Since 2000 we established the club of "dialogue of civilizations" in our university, and Ehsan Mansouri was one of bravest and perhaps the most dedicated leaders during this club's life. He tried to limit the arena of violent contacts and lead people to peaceful dialogue with proposing and holding the plan of "dialogue of religions" in university. But alas! That he is imprison now and doesn't have any chance to do any thing even defense; and we all believe that a student like him can never do anything to offend or insult anybody. How is it possible that the leader of dialogue publish a paper to accuse somebody?
The leaders and members of this club hope that you, among with thousands of noble students, help us in our efforts to release Ehsan Mansouri and other prisoner students. Looking forward seeing a day that nobody is adjudged or condemned because of their thoughts.
